Dear Colleagues,

I hope your school year is off to a smooth start! It has reached the time of year to renew your WCSMA
membership! We look forward to many new and active members this year. Please forward this message to
any new music colleagues in your district, and please provide me with contact information for any music
teachers that may have recently retired from your district who would like to maintain membership.

Membership Registration- EXISTING MEMBERS:
If you are an existing member looking to renew your membership, please DO NOT re-register on DaCapo!
Instead, please log into https://wcsma.dacapomusicfestivals.com/ using your existing account, and follow
the prompts for payment:
1. Payment via credit card- follow the prompts on the screen
2. Payment via check – click the green button, “Click here and print this invoice.” Print the invoice and mail the check to the address on the invoice.
3. Payment via district- click the green button, “Click here and print this invoice.” Print the invoice for district processing. It is important that your district-issued         invoice or PO includes the names of every teacher that is being paid for.

Membership Registration- NEW MEMBERS, MEMBERS CHANGING DISTRICTS & RECENT RETIREES:
Please click HERE for a step-by-step video explaining how to create your DaCapo membership account, or
follow the steps below:

1. Visit https://wcsma.dacapomusicfestivals.com/
2. Click “Register for New Account”
3. You will be asked for an access code. Please contact bastonet@harrisoncsd.org for this information. This includes new members, members changing districts, and retirees.
4. Click “Register Now”
5. Complete the Personal Membership Information- please use the same email address that you use
     to register students for festivals on the NYSSMA DaCapo site
6. Click “Create Account”
7. Log in using your newly created username and password
8. Follow the prompts for payment

  1. Payment via credit card- follow the prompts on the screen
  2. Payment via check- click the green button, “Click here and print this invoice.” Print the invoice, and mail the check to the address on the invoice.
  3. Payment via district- click the green button, “Click here and print this invoice.” Print the invoice for
    district processing. It is important that your district-issued invoice or PO includes the names of every teacher that is being paid for.

** Please note- if your district pays your membership, they may ask you to list your “personal address” as your school address to process payment**
9. Click the shield at the top of the page. Click “Add WCSMA Westchester to your SSO Portfolio.” You will be sent an email to link your two DaCapo accounts for         single log-in access.

ALL CHECKS MUST BE MADE OUT TO WCSMA

Below are some important notes regarding membership for this school year:

  • Dues are $45.00 for active members, and $30.00 for retired members. Payment may be made via
    personal check or through a school purchase order. Checks should be made out to WCSMA.
  • This DaCapo site is SEPARATE from the site that hosts festival nominations and registrations.
    You may choose to make your login credentials the same for both sites, but please keep track of
    your accounts on both sites as separate entities. Once your account is created, there is an
    option to link both accounts.
  • If your district pays for your dues, please ensure that your district issued invoice or PO includes
    the names of every teacher that is being paid for.
  • You are able to pay for your membership dues via credit card through AffiniPay directly on the
    DaCapo site if you choose. Due to the electronic fees required by AffiniPay, the membership fee
    will be in the amount of $47.00 for active/new members and $32.00 for retired members.
  • All membership registrations and dues will need to be submitted by November 1, 2025. If you
    register after November 1, the fee will be $55.00 for active/new members and $40.00 for
    retirees if paid by check. If you pay via credit card, there will be an additional $2 surcharge.

WCSMA requests that all contact information (phone, personal and school email, school address) be
submitted. If any member feels uncomfortable with any part of their contact information being
made available in a membership directory, please email me individually. However, ALL CONTACT
INFORMATION IS NEEDED FOR ADMINISTRATIVE CONTACT PURPOSES ONLY (festival mailings,
etc.). WCSMA promises confidentiality with any and all contact information of the membership via
DaCapo.
