Dear WCSMA Colleagues,
I am reaching out to you to share an important update about the 2024-25 festivals.
While the dates for all festivals are correct, we have discovered inconsistencies in internal and external communications between this past March through June regarding the arrival times for the November Area All-State concert days.
For the Area All-State concert day, the right thing to do is to defer to the times that were sent home to students and families on the commitment form. Those times are pasted below:
Area All-State Rehearsal 1 – ALL GROUPS
Wednesday, October 16, 4:00-9:00 PM
New Rochelle High School; as per the student letter, please navigate to North Ave @ Braemar Ave, New Rochelle for pick-up and drop off
Area All-State Rehearsal 2 – ALL GROUPS
Wednesday, October 30, 4:00-9:00 PM
New Rochelle High School; as per the student letter, please navigate to North Ave @ Braemar Ave, New Rochelle for pick-up and drop off
Area All-State Rehearsal 3 and Concert – BAND ONLY
Saturday, November 2, 10:00-12:00 PM (rehearsal), 1:00-1:30 PM (concert)
New Rochelle High School; 265 Clove Road, New Rochelle, NY 10801 (as per the student letter, use the parking lot that is opposite Parcot Ave)
Area All-State Rehearsal 3 and Concert – SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AND STRING ORCHESTRA ONLY
Saturday, November 2, 2:30-4:30 PM (rehearsal). 5:00-6:00 PM (concert)

Area All-State Rehearsal 3 and Concert – MIXED CHORUS AND TREBLE CHORUS ONLY
Sunday, November 3, 10:00-12:00 PM (rehearsal); 1:00-2:00 PM (concert)
