Dear AAS Colleagues:
Two important updates are below.
- The NYSSMA required COVID-19 and Contagious Disease Liability Waiver can now be uploaded to each student’s Da Capo account. If you have not yet submitted forms for your students, please do so by uploading a PDF of the signed form(s) to each student’s entry. This must be completed prior to the first rehearsal on October 19.
- Outstanding music has still not arrived. Due to copyright restrictions, NYSSMA has advised us that we cannot send PDF’s of music in the interim. At this point, we can confirm that we will not have the music ready in time for the WCSMA Open House. We expect that we will be getting music to each school via postal mail, and will communicate details on that as soon as we have music in hand. The NYSSMA office has communicated the urgency of this situation to the distributor. In the interim, we suggest that students start to prepare by listening to available recordings of the repertoire they will be performing in November. A repertoire list can be found here.
